As the vibrant hues of spring wait just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to share a big change blooming in my life.
This month I’ll be bidding farewell to my lovely role at the Courtyard Shop. Since I set up the shop two and a half years ago, it’s been such an incredible journey and blossomed into a wonderful community. I’ve adored cultivating connections with so many talented artists and small businesses, helping over 160 of them sell their products. After lockdown and working alone in my jewellery studio I was craving a sense of community, and my role at the Courtyard was more than just a job - I have LOVED setting up and growing this shop, a true haven for local creativity.
I've worked with an amazing team and had so many wonderful opportunities, a real highlight was collaborating with the National Trust, organising exclusive artisan markets to bring back retail to National Trust estates post-lockdown.
But as seasons change, so do chapters in our lives. I’m looking forward to handing over the shop keys and returning as a customer to buy beautiful handmade goodies.
While saying goodbye to the Courtyard is bittersweet, I’m bursting with excitement for this next chapter, and I can’t wait for you to be a part of it. Behind the scenes at Jewellery HQ, seeds have been sown, ready to blossom, and it’s time for me to nurture these new projects, from events, big offerings and new jewellery designs…
